CCTA Recognizes Staff During Annual Banquet

Cassville Community Teachers Association (CCTA) Banquet that was held on Thursday, April 27 in the Cassville High School Commons Area. At the banquet, several staff members were recognized for their accomplishments.
Cassville R-IV Retirees
Brenda Russell is an aide for both Eunice Thomas Elementary School and the Intermediate School. She has 21 years in education and began working for Cassville R-IV in 1995.
Rick Lawson is currently serving at the Cassville Middle School as the At-Risk Teacher. He began working for the district for the first time in 1983. He has 39 years of experience in education.
Donna Lawson is the librarian at Cassville High School and has 26 years of experience in the field of education. She began working for the Cassville school district in 1993.
Charla Curry began working for the district in 1994, however, has 24 years of education experience. Curry is the art teacher at Eunice Thomas Elementary School.
Evelyn Gieske began teaching at Cassville in 2007, however, she has 36 years of experience in education. She is a second grade teacher.
Kay McCullah is the eighth grade Communications Arts teacher at Cassville Middle School. She has 26 years of education experience, but began working for Cassville R-IV in 2006.
Board Scholarship
On behalf of the Board of Education, Becky Henningson, Board of Education Member, presented Mr. Micah Boise and Mr. Robbie Artherton with the Board Scholarship to continue their education. Boise is a Vocal Music Instructor for Cassville R-IV and Artherton is the Industrial Technology teacher at Cassville Middle School.
Young Educator of the Year
Mrs. Kim Cupps, third grade teacher at Cassville Intermediate School, was named the Young Educator of the Year. Cupps began working for Cassville Schools in 2014.
Teacher of the Year
Mrs. Kami Willis pictured with Mrs. Julie Dillow. Dillow was the 2016 Teacher of the year for Middle School and Intermediate.
Anne Dalton, Special Education Teacher at Cassville Intermediate, was named the 2017 Teacher of the Year for the Primary and Intermediate Schools.
Kami Willis, Speech and Language Pathologist, was named the Teacher of the Year for the Middle and High Schools.
Quarter Century Club
Dr. Richard Asbill recognized Mrs. Jill LeCompte, Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. Connie Rose, second grade teacher and Mrs. Pamela Ralls, preschool teacher, for devoting 25 years of their career to the Cassville R-IV School District.
