Read Over the Summer!
The more you read, the better you read. That's a proven fact.  And you can read what YOU LIKE during the summer - no assigned reading lists!  Sign up for the public library's summer reading program.  Your nearest public library has lots of fun-filled activities planned during June and July. Go by and sign up to participate!
Whatever you read, don't forget to jot it down and turn in your list to Mrs. Lawson at the start of school in the fall! There's more info about summer reading and a handy form you can print out here.

Access to Thousands of Free eBooks
CHS Students and Staff now have access to over $250 million in popular eBooks from major publishers for free via the Open eBooks app.  Students received their log-in information in their CommArts classes.  The Open eBooks app was developed by the New York Public Library in partnership with the Digital Public Library of America and First Book.  The app can be used on smartphones and tablets.

Cassville Alma Mater
From each loyal son and daughter,
Dear Cassville High,
Comes a song for alma mater,
Dear Cassville High.
Thou hast taught us more than learning,
With bright hopes our hearts are burning.
Oft in dreams we'll be returning
To Cassville High.
