Before purchasing, however, the new owner wants to know more about all wavelengths of the spectrum and has asked for help from your research group. Your team will research the different types of electromagnetic waves, including benefits and harmful effects. You will need an in-depth understanding of the relationship among frequency, wavelength and energy of waves.

As a scientific consultant, your task is to prepare a presentation to the Wildcat Communication Board of Directors, recommending a purchase of a portion of the spectrum, including cost analysis and future uses. Your team will also include a complete description of all portions of the electromagnetic spectrum, advising the company of the wavelengths that are not appropriate for communication at this time.
