2024 Homecoming Information
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe 2024 Cassville Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, October 11. The theme is "Winning BIG on Homecoming." The parade is hosted by Cassville High School Student Council.
Route
Parade will begin on 6th Street at the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce office. Floats will turn left onto Main St. and travel down to the school campus, turn right onto 14th St (Kit Kat Drive), then travel down in front of Eunice Thomas Elementary. Turn left at the field house onto the paved bus lane to the high school. The parade will end at the high school.
Timing
The parade start time is 1:00. The Parade will end at the High School at approximately 1:45. High School Pep Assembly will start around 2:00.
Viewing
Alumni, business professionals, community members and parents are invited and welcome to view the parade on Main Street between 6th and 14th Street. The parade route from 14th Street onto the High School campus will be reserved for Cassville R-IV staff and students only.
Safety
We are working in collaboration with the Cassville Police Department to ensure the safety of our students who are participating in and viewing the parade. Please note the parade route from 14th Street to the High School will not be open to the general public. The general public will need to make arrangements to view the parade between 6th and 14th Street. The parade timing in the afternoon will cause traffic slowdowns and alternate routes for travelers who traditionally take Main Street from 1:00 until about 2:00.
Inclement Weather
If we have less-than-ideal weather conditions (rain, thunderstorms, snow), the parade will be canceled. If the parade is canceled, we will revert to a normal school day. Student Council will still host an assembly at 2:00 p.m.
Homecoming Court Coronation:
6:30 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium. 7 p.m. kick-off for Varsity Football vs. Nevada.
