Eighth Grade Students Participate in FBLA Entrepreneurship Workshop
On Wednesday, January 29th, Cassville FBLA hosted an Entrepreneurship Workshop for all eighth-grade students. The workshop is designed to encourage an interest in business and entrepreneurship as students enter high school and gain access to business classes.
FBLA partnered with Sunshine Coffee for the event, and Tarra and David Jack, owners of Sunshine Coffee, presented at the workshop about their experience building a small business. Students then created their own business idea and developed a business plan. The business plans were judged by volunteer judges based on the quality of the planning and thoroughness of the business plan. The winning group was awarded Sunshine Coffee gift cards. FBLA was proud to support this small business as they have supported the chapter.
Congratulations to Table Leader Kailyn Speer, Addy Ramaeker, Paislee Bolinger, Trinity Granger, Wesley Lowery Jr., Marcos Cifuentes for earning first place!
