Elks Lodge 1042 Recognizes Wildcat Essay Winners
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Elks Lodge 1042 in Holiday Island, Arkansas has announced that three Cassville Intermediate students have placed in the top three entries for the Grand Lodge Americanism Essay Contest. Addison Myers finished in first place, Arianna Melchor earned second place and Jaelyn Cavness placed third. Students were asked to complete an essay answering the question, "What does patriotism mean to me."
Myers has advanced to the state competition where she will compete for a $1,000 prize.
