CMS and CHS TSA Members Compete at State
Cassville Middle School (CMS) and Cassville High School (CHS) Technology Students Association (TSA) recently competed in the state TSA competition in Warrensburg at the University of Central Missouri.
CMS TSA members that competed at state include Chance Bowling, Eli Roark, Harley Madison, Rylan Holman, Cannon Rose, Hugh Thao and Isaac Hooten. Jackie Brisco serves as the middle school sponsor.
CMS members competed in Coding, Video Game Design, Problem Solving, Construction Challenge, Forensic Science and Robotics.
Bowling, Holman, Rose, Thao and Hooten earned a first place medal in the Construction Challenge. The Robotics team made up of Holman, Madison and Roark earned third place. Holman and Roark also earned fourth place in Problem Solving. Finishing in fifth place in the Forensic Science competition was Roark and Thao.
CHS TSA members that competed at state include Avery Chappell, Gracie Harmon, Kayden Fuchs, Bentley Barber, Kyler Holman and Andrew Gray. Robbie Artherton serves as the high school sponsor.
CHS members competed in Board Game Design, On Demand Video, Technology Bowl, Technology Problem Solving, Manufacturing Prototype, Promotional Design, Dragster Design and Essays on Technology.
The top five entries in each category earn a state medal. Chappell earned first place in Promotional Design, Harmon earned second place in Essays on Technology and Fuchs and Barber earned fifth place in Video Game Design.
