Class of 2023 Cum Laude Honors
The Cum Laude system recognizes academic excellence in which there are three
tiers. Students who completed a minimum of seven successful semesters of high
school, earned 25 credits, and earned a 3.50 to 3.69 gpa are awarded the bronze Cum
Laude medal.

George Washington Carver Awards
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education invites public school
officials to honor Missouri’s outstanding high school seniors by presenting them with
the George Washington Carver Award. This recognition is given to the top 10 percent
of each high school’s graduating class.
