Cassville R-IV Industrial Arts Host TEAM Competition
On Friday, May 5, the Cassville R-IV Industrial Arts program hosted the Technology Education Association of Missouri (TEAM) West Division competition at the Fema Event Center. TEAM is an organization that focuses its efforts on supporting industrial technology students.
The craftsmanship of students from 8 different school districts were represented at the competition.
CMS Advanced Woodworking students designed and built projects to enter the competition. Projects included gun and bow racks, baseball bats, dovetail boxes, phone docking stations and night stands.
CMS students Baxton Cornell, Otto Delight, Easton Hughes and Kamden Beebe earned first place in the West Division and their projects advanced to the state competition.
CHS students Hunter Morse, Trace Sturgell, Isaac Pickett, CJ Rose, David Turner and Hailey Gautney built a trailer and placed first in the metal welding division.
