Now is the time to complete your Free and Reduced Meal Applications!
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) free meal program that provided free meals to all students expired over the summer.
The free school meals program, initially introduced in March of 2020 as the pandemic began, was not included in the spending bill passed by the Senate. This means that free meals for all students has expired.
Families should complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application now. Applications are available by clicking here, in our building level offices and through your child's teacher. Families must complete the application if they are hoping to qualify for free or reduced meals during the 2022-23 school year. Families that do not fill out the application, or do not qualify for free or reduced meals, will be charged for each meal their child consumes. This applies to all students at all buildings, even if these students or buildings have been free in the past.
