Wildcat TSA Members Compete at State
Cassville Middle School (CMS) and Cassville High School (CHS) Technology Students Association (TSA) competed in the state TSA competition in Warrensburg at the University of Central Missouri.
In the middle school division, the robotics team made up of Cyrus Ganoung, Harley Madison and Cannon Rose placed first in VEX IQ. Placing second in the VEX IQ category was CMS students Rylen Holman, David Rehbach and Hugh Thao.
Rose and Thao also placed second in middle school Video Game Design.
Two CMS teams competed in the Tech Bowl competition with both teams earning state medals. Ganoung, Madison and Rose finished in third place. Holman, Rehbach and Thao placed fourth.
In the middle school Problem Solving category, Ganoung and Madison earned fourth place.
CHS students Avery Chappell and Gracie Harmon placed second in the high school Data Science and Analytics division. In addition, Chappell, Harmon and CHS students Bentley Barber and Kayden Fuchs earned fourth place in On Demand Video. In the Forensic Science competition, Chappell and Harmon placed fifth.
Cassville Industrial Arts teachers, Mr. Robbie Artherton and Mr. Marcus Reynolds, serve as the district's TSA club sponsors.
