Reynolds Returns to Wildcat Nation to Lead Boys Basketball Program

Caleb Reynolds

The Cassville Wildcat High School Boys Basketball team will have a new coach for the 2022-23 season. The district has hired Caleb Reynolds to lead the program beginning July 1.

Reynolds has experience both playing and coaching men's basketball at the collegiate and high school level. Most recently, he has served as the head coach at Dora High School. Prior to his time at Dora, Reynolds led the team at Silver High School in Silver City, New Mexico.

After completing his education and his own college athletic career, Reynolds was an assistant coach at both Western New Mexico University and Crowley’s Ridge College in Paragould, Arkansas. While working at Crowley’s, he also served in the athletic department as an Academic Coordinator and assisted in coordinating summer youth basketball camps on campus.

Reynolds is no stranger to Wildcat Nation and is thrilled to once again wear black and gold. His father, Don Reynolds, previously served as an administrator at Cassville R-IV. During that time, Caleb attended kindergarten-third grade in Cassville. His family relocated due to a career opportunity in a different community.

I am thrilled to be coming back to Cassville after so many years,” stated Reynolds. “My wife, Annely, and I look forward to being a part of this great community and school.”

He has a Masters of Art in Educational Leadership from Western New Mexico University and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Harding University.

Reynolds will be teaching physical education and health at CHS.

“Wildcat Nation is excited to welcome Coach Caleb Reynolds,” stated Doug Martin, Cassville R-IV Athletic Director. “Coach Reynolds has a passion for developing skills and embodies the values and character traits we value in our men’s basketball program. I look forward to seeing him in action.”

“There is a great foundation in Cassville to build a very competitive boys basketball program,” said Reynolds.  “I’m excited to get in the gym with the boys and get to work preparing for the upcoming season. Go wildcats!”
