Security Bank Supports Students Serve Project
During the summer school session at Cassville R-IV, students were taught about the importance of serving others in our community.
"Haven of the Ozarks is a place that students connect with and a great way to start our students wanting to serve," said Joni Glidewell, Summer School Coordinator.
"The Haven came for an assembly at the beginning of summer school and brought a couple of dogs with them so the kids could make that connection. They told the students about their organization and how we could help. The following weeks, our students held a donation drive for Haven of the Ozarks. They brought in pet food, cat litter, detergent, paper towels, etc. "
On Tuesday, June 21, middle school students visited Haven of the Ozarks to deliver the donations that were collected and to volunteer.
Security Bank provided shirts for all middle school students who volunteered at the Haven.
