Wildcats Welcome Mercy Athletic Trainer Don Lentz
Cassville R-IV welcomes Don Lentz, Mercy Athletic Trainer, as a member of the wildcat team!
Through a partnership with the district and Mercy, Lentz provides full-time sports medicine services to Cassville athletes, including injury prevention, medical evaluations and recovery.
Lentz began serving as the wildcat athletic trainer in August of this year. He attends both practices and competitions in order to assist student athletes with medical needs that may arise.
Lentz has relocated to Southwest Missouri from Illinois where he has worked in athletic training for nearly 20 years. Most recently, he was caring for athletes at Lewis and Clark Community College.
“Don Lentz has a strong background as an athletic trainer and spent many years in large high schools,” said Cassville R-IV Athletic Director, Doug Martin. “We are blessed to have him join our team and look forward to the way he will help us care for our student-athletes.”
“Please be sure to give him a warm welcome when you see him,” encouraged Martin.
